With a continuous output of 2000 watts and a peak power output of 6000 watts, this inverter charger can handle a wide range of electrical equipment and appliances. It features a modified sine wave output, ensuring compatibility with most devices while maintaining efficiency with a 92 percent rating.
This unit incorporates advanced safety features such as over voltage and under voltage protection, over-temperature protection, overload protection, and short circuit protection. These features work together to safeguard your deep-cycle batteries from excessive depletion and damage. The automatic 3-stage battery charger ensures that batteries are recharged quickly and efficiently, while the built-in transfer switch automatically switches between inverter power and incoming AC power.
The Freedom 458 also includes temperature compensation with an equalization stage, optimizing the charging process for deep cycle batteries. Power sharing capabilities prevent the source AC input circuit breaker from tripping, allowing for seamless operation. For enhanced control and monitoring, the Freedom Basic Remote can be used, and for advanced battery monitoring, optional Link instrumentation can be paired with the system.
