This filter features a higher resin content compared to standard filters, allowing it to effectively trap and hold smaller contaminants, ensuring higher efficiency and cleaner oil circulation. The heavy-walled can and cover are engineered to withstand extreme burst pressures, making it suitable for rigorous racing conditions.
Constructed with high temperature nitrile baseplate gaskets, this oil filter can endure the elevated temperatures typical in racing environments. The zinc chromate-plated baseplate minimizes surface friction and is resistant to corrosion, enhancing the longevity of the filter. Additionally, the spiral-wound center tube increases collapse pressure and improves flow patterns, while metal end caps provide structural integrity and prevent filtering bypass.
