Wix Filters air filters are designed to ensure optimal engine performance by preventing harmful particles from entering the fuel mix. With the capability to handle up to 10,000 gallons of air for every gallon of fuel consumed, these filters are essential for maintaining engine integrity. The air filter media features nine pleats per inch, which enhances its lifespan and improves its ability to capture contaminants that can cause engine damage.
The design of the Wix air filter provides a linear airflow path with low air restriction, ensuring that the engine receives the necessary air supply without hindrance. Special pocket pleats in the media are secured with a specially formulated adhesive, enhancing the filter's durability. Additionally, a mesh screen on both the inside and outside walls adds strength to the element and protects the media from backfire.
Constructed with heat-resistant plastisol, each filter is designed with specially engineered seals on the top and bottom walls, along with an adhesive seal that joins the media ends. This construction ensures a reliable and effective filtration solution for various applications, including industrial tractors and lawnmowers.
