The Whelen Engineering ION Series Warning Light is a compact and versatile lighting solution designed for a variety of applications. With a length of 4 inches, width of 1.13 inches, and height of 1 inch, this lighthead features a clear lens and is available in red, blue, and white bulb options. The universal mount allows for easy installation using a combination of permanent and pedestal mounts, clips, edge mounts, or double-sided tape, making it adaptable to different setups.
This warning light utilizes TIR linear-LED optics to provide a directional or wide-angle light spread, ensuring visibility in various conditions. The ION Series is equipped with a 32 scan-lock flash pattern, powered by a 12-volt DC supply, and operates at a peak current of 0.95 amps and an average of 0.38 amps. The black housing adds durability while maintaining a sleek appearance.
Designed for efficiency and reliability, the ION Series lightheads are SAE Class 1 certified, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The inclusion of a 6-wire pigtail, pedestal mount, bail, swivel bracket, and rubber grommet enhances the installation process, making it a practical choice for emergency vehicles, construction sites, and other applications requiring high visibility.
