The Volant Cool Air Intakes Cold Air Intake system features a Cross-Link polyethylene box designed for specific applications, ensuring low restriction and increased air volume. This innovative design insulates the air filter from engine heat, moisture, dust, and debris, delivering colder air to the engine which can lead to improved horsepower. The sculptured Cross-Link polyethylene air ducts facilitate less restrictive breathing, maximizing airflow velocity and throttle response for enhanced engine performance.
In addition to its advanced design, the system includes high-performance silicone hose connectors that offer flexibility while maintaining strength and thermal stability. Unlike traditional rubber connectors, these silicone connectors are resistant to cracking and deformation over time. The use of marine-grade stainless steel clamps ensures optimal performance by providing a solid seal that remains secure and does not deteriorate, contributing to the overall reliability of the intake system.
