The Viair 24-Volt Air Compressor is designed for medium-duty applications, delivering a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI and an airflow rate of 1.80 CFM at 0 PSI. This compressor is capable of efficiently filling a 5-gallon air tank, making it suitable for powering air lockers, air horns, and for emergency tire inflation. With a duty cycle of 33 percent at 100 PSI, it boasts one of the fastest refill times in its class, capable of recharging a 2.5-gallon tank from 110 to 150 PSI in just 1 minute and 25 seconds, and a 5-gallon tank in approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
The unit features a remote mountable intake filter assembly, allowing for flexible installation while keeping the air filter away from moisture and debris. It includes a durable 1/4 inch NPT stainless steel braided leader hose with a check valve, ensuring reliable performance and easy setup. The compressor is built with a permanent magnetic motor and an oil-less design, enhancing its efficiency and reducing maintenance needs.
Constructed with high-quality materials, the Viair compressor includes an anodized aluminum alloy cylinder and a gearless direct drive motor. It is equipped with an automatic reset thermal overload protector for added safety and longevity. The mounting plates come with vibration isolators to minimize noise and enhance stability during operation.
