The Turbosmart Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator is engineered to optimize boost response for factory frame turbochargers. This actuator features a high-grade billet aluminum construction, ensuring durability and reliability under demanding conditions. With an increased working ratio compared to factory equipment, the IWG75 Series actuator improves boost response across the entire RPM range. This is achieved through a larger effective surface area of the diaphragm and refined spring configurations, allowing for greater leverage against boost and backpressure forces. As a result, users can expect a broader boost and torque curve, with peak boost being reached earlier and sustained longer into higher RPMs.
While the actuator is designed to operate with the same base pressure as factory units, it can be further optimized with higher base pressures, although tuning and recalibration may be necessary.
