The Tuffy Security Cargo Enclosure is designed to provide over 20000 cubic inches of secure storage space behind the rear seat of your vehicle. Constructed from welded 16 gauge steel and finished with a textured powder coat, this enclosure offers durability and resistance to wear. The patented design ensures that the enclosure does not rely on the wheel well for support, enhancing security and stability.
Installation is straightforward, requiring only standard hand tools, and is compatible with both OEM hard and soft tops in 4 door models. The enclosure features a hinged lid that opens easily for access when the rear vehicle door is unlocked, and it can be held open with an attached support rod. For added convenience, the lid and side panels can be removed without tools, allowing for the transport of larger items when necessary.
This cargo enclosure is specifically designed to work with the OEM storage cover and includes all necessary mounting hardware and weather seals. The vehicle power lock switches on the tailgate disable after 16 seconds when locking the doors with the key fob, ensuring that your cargo remains secure.
