The Tuffy Security Cargo Enclosure is designed to provide over 20000 cubic inches of lockable storage space behind the rear seat of your Jeep. Constructed from welded 16 gauge steel and finished with a durable textured powder coat, this enclosure ensures that your belongings are protected and secure. The patented security system works seamlessly with the Jeep's locking tailgate, allowing the lid to be easily accessed when the rear vehicle door is opened.
This enclosure features a lid that hinges open and can be supported with an attached rod for convenience. The vertical front and side panels can be removed without tools, enabling the transport of larger items when necessary. Installation is straightforward, requiring standard hand tools, and it is compatible with both 2 and 4 door models, with or without an OEM hardtop.
The design of the Tuffy Security Cargo Enclosure does not rely on the wheel well for support, enhancing its security. It also includes mounting hardware and weather seals, ensuring a tight fit and protection against the elements. Note that the enclosure does not accommodate the OEM optional Alpine Rear Speaker, and any items placed on top must be securely fastened.
