Constructed from heavy-duty 16 gauge steel, this enclosure features a textured powder-coated finish for enhanced durability and resistance to wear. The innovative latching system ensures that the lid remains securely closed when the rear vehicle door is locked, providing peace of mind for your stored items.
Accessing the contents is straightforward, as the lid easily hinges open when the rear door is opened. For larger items, both the lid and front can be removed without the need for tools, allowing for versatile transport options. The enclosure also includes a weight-bearing lid that features a unique storage tray, along with two side organization trays for additional storage above the wheel wells.
Designed for compatibility with OEM hard or soft tops, the Tuffy Cargo Enclosure mounts easily in TJs and LJs without drilling, while YJs may require optional drilling to utilize factory holes. All trays are equipped with external drain holes to prevent moisture accumulation, ensuring that your items remain dry and secure.
