The Teraflex Rear Forged ST Sway Bar Kit is designed to improve rear suspension travel while maintaining stability. This kit allows for up to 16 inches of rear wheel travel, surpassing the capabilities of the factory rear sway bar. By relocating the sway bar from the axle to the frame, it minimizes the risk of damage during off-road use, ensuring durability and reliability in various terrains.
Constructed from forged and heat-treated 4140 steel, the sway bar features a hex head design for added strength. The curved forged sway bar arms provide necessary clearance throughout full suspension movement, accommodating different lift heights. Additionally, the kit includes OEM-style Teflon-coated sway bar bushings, which reduce noise and enhance longevity.
This sway bar kit is compatible with vehicles that have a minimum of 2-inch rear bump stops and is suitable for those with Sport/Overland and Rubicon fenders, requiring specific bump stop extensions for larger tires. The painted black finish adds a sleek look while ensuring protection against corrosion.
