TeraFlex Heavy Duty Ball Joints are engineered to replace factory ball joints that may not withstand the rigors of off-road driving or larger tire applications. Constructed from heat-treated 4140 chrome moly steel, these ball joints offer superior fatigue and abrasion resistance, ensuring reliability in demanding conditions. The design eliminates weak plastic components, featuring sintered metal bearings in the upper joint to manage rotational loads effectively.

The lower ball joint incorporates a threaded metal cup for precise pre-load adjustments, supported by a high carbon tool steel spring plate that enhances wear resistance under vehicle weight. An oversized flanged nut provides a robust bearing surface against the outer knuckle, while the dual grease zerks facilitate easy maintenance and servicing. The flush needle zerk on the lower joint is specifically designed for u-joint clearance, promoting hassle-free upkeep.

With a magnesium phosphate coating to prevent corrosion, these ball joints are built to endure harsh environments.
