The SurePower Battery Isolator Solenoid is designed to manage multi-battery electrical systems, ensuring greater reliability for main battery engine starting. This uni-directional solenoid operates at 12 volts DC with a maximum capacity of 100 amps, effectively preventing battery drain by acting as a check valve between batteries. By allowing each battery to function as an independent power source, the isolator conserves power in the main battery even when the auxiliary battery is fully discharged.

During the charging process, the isolator prioritizes the main battery, ensuring it remains fully charged for engine starting. The battery separator system provides a solenoid priority mechanism that utilizes auxiliary battery power when the main battery is low, enhancing the vehicle's starting capabilities. Additionally, the isolator disconnects the main and auxiliary batteries to protect them from excessive drain, while a time-delay function prevents the separator from reacting to temporary voltage fluctuations.
