Star Brite Performacide Surface Sanitizer is designed for use on hard non-porous surfaces, providing a reliable solution for disinfection and sanitation in various environments. This product utilizes sodium chloride as its active ingredient, creating a chlorine dioxide solution that effectively eliminates a wide range of pathogens, including MRSA, HIV-1, and various viruses and bacteria. The 1-gallon kit includes a gallon jug, a spray pump with hose, and three 1.5-ounce concentrate pouches, allowing for easy preparation and application.
The Performacide system is user-friendly, featuring pre-measured pouches that, when mixed with water, yield a 100 ppm chlorine dioxide solution. This solution remains effective for up to 15 days when stored properly. For specific applications, the solution can be diluted to 20 ppm for non-food contact surfaces and 5 ppm for food contact surfaces, ensuring compliance with EPA guidelines. The product is suitable for use in hospitals, veterinary facilities, and other critical environments where sanitation is paramount.
To apply, simply wet the surface with the prepared solution using a mop, sponge, or pressurized sprayer, and allow it to air dry. The versatility of Performacide allows it to be used on various surfaces, including walls, floors, furniture, and stainless steel. For optimal results, users are encouraged to refer to the inner label instructions for dilution ratios and testing methods to ensure the effectiveness of the solution.
