Skyjacker has engineered a progressive variable rate coil spring specifically for the JL40B lift kit. This innovative design features a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil that transitions from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The initial Flex Rate provides a comfortable ride while allowing for increased articulation, ensuring that the coil springs remain seated during full suspension droop, keeping tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate engages after compression past the flex rate, enhancing stability and control.
The kit includes a replacement Front Adjustable Track Bar with heavy-duty components, including pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushings and an adjustable 3/4 Inch Heavy-Duty Rod End. This track bar correction is crucial for centering the axle under the vehicle, maintaining proper suspension geometry. Additionally, the kit features Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers that secure suspension travel and Extended Length Sway Bar End Links that allow for full articulation as the suspension drops.
