The Si-Tex Automatic Identification System Transponder is engineered for high performance and durability, ensuring reliable service for marine applications. This Class B AIS module features a powerful 5 Watt transmitter, allowing vessels to be detected at greater distances by other ships and AIS websites. Its integrated zero loss VHF antenna splitter eliminates the need for a second antenna, simplifying installation and enhancing functionality.
Equipped with built-in 802.11 B/G/N long-range WiFi, this transponder can transmit AIS and position data to any WiFi-connected devices, providing real-time information to users. The device supports both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 protocols, ensuring compatibility with various bridge systems. Additionally, the galvanic isolated USB connection protects the transponder and connected PCs from electrical interference.
The Si-Tex transponder includes a high-resolution 72 channel GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation receiver, with both internal and external GPS antennas provided for versatile installation options. An automatic VDR function is also included, which saves the previous 30 days of voyage data automatically, enhancing safety and compliance for commercial vessels.
