The Samlex Battery Charger Controller is designed to efficiently manage the charging of 12 Volt and 24 Volt DC lead-acid flooded, AGM, gel cell, and NiCad batteries. Utilizing a series pulse width modulation (PWM) type, this 30 Amp controller ensures optimal charging performance while protecting batteries from over-charging. The unit features a digital LED display along with a single three-color LED indicator, providing clear visibility of operational status and fault messages.
This charger incorporates a four-stage charging process, including bulk, absorption, float, and manual/automatic equalization, which enhances battery life and performance. With eight selectable battery charging profiles, users can easily configure the charger to suit their specific battery type. Additionally, the optional battery temperature sensor allows for temperature compensated charging, further optimizing the charging process.
Constructed with a powder-coated steel faceplate, the Samlex Battery Charger Controller is built for durability and reliability in various environments, including marine applications. Its compact dimensions of 7.5 inches in width, 4.25 inches in height, and 1.35 inches in depth make it suitable for installation in tight spaces.
