The Rhino-Rack Bike Fork Adapter, known as DropTop, is designed to accommodate a range of thru-axle sizes including 12mm, 15mm, and 20mm, all up to 110mm wide. This innovative adapter features a TPU overmolded shim that allows for seamless compatibility without the need for switching shims, enhancing user convenience. The clamshell design, derived from the DriveShaft series, ensures easy loading and adapts to minor variations in axle diameter or contouring, making it a reliable choice for various bike models.
The DropTop is engineered for both vertical and horizontal mounting positions, providing flexibility in installation. Its anti-theft design incorporates a TPU surface that creates sufficient friction to prevent axle removal when securely clamped and locked. Additionally, the wide mouth opening facilitates easy loading of the bike, while the locking T-bolt adjusts for a tighter hold, ensuring that the thru-axle remains securely in place when locked. This product effectively replaces both the DriveShaft HM and DriveShaft Track Mounts, streamlining your bike transport solutions.
