The Retrax IX is a manual retractable tonneau cover designed for optimal functionality and durability. Constructed from strong aluminum slats linked by a robust elastomer hinge, this cover effectively prevents water and debris from entering the truck bed. Its UV-resistant matte finish powder coat enhances protection against harsh environmental conditions, ensuring that both the truck bed and cargo remain secure over time.
Featuring a convenient release handle, the Retrax IX rolls into a custom spiral canister at the front of the bed, which minimizes wear and tear on the cover. The sealed roller bearings within the aluminum rails provide smooth operation, eliminating binding and reducing the need for maintenance. Additionally, the adjustable latch stops allow for three customizable locking positions, offering flexibility in hauling capacity.
Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling and can be completed in approximately 30 minutes using bolt-on clamps.
