The Raymarine VHF Radio Ray91 is a fixed mount communication device designed for use in United States, Canadian, and international waters. It features a powerful 25 Watt transmitter and commercial-grade electronics, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability. The radio supports channel scanning, dual-watch, tri-watch, and weather alerts, making it a versatile tool for maritime communication. With integrated GPS capabilities and Class D Digital Selective Calling, users can easily set up safety features by inputting their vessel's MMSI number.
This VHF radio is designed with a black box configuration, allowing for discreet mounting and efficient use of dashboard space. It is multi-station capable and can be expanded to accommodate up to two handsets. The built-in loudhailer and fog signal generator enhance communication capabilities, while simple NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 networking facilitate easy integration with other marine electronics. The Ray91 also includes a built-in Automatic Identification System Class B receiver, providing additional situational awareness on the water.
For optimal GPS operation, the optional GA150 passive GPS antenna is required. The Ray91 is IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rated, ensuring durability in harsh marine environments. This radio is equipped with an LCD display and is powered by a 12 Volt DC system, making it suitable for a wide range of vessels.
