The Rancho RS7000MT is a nitrogen gas charged monotube shock absorber designed for enhanced performance in both on-road and off-road conditions. Its construction features a 14 millimeter hardened chrome piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The shock absorber is equipped with a full-floating dividing piston and high-pressure nitrogen gas, which maintains constant pressure against the hydraulic oil, effectively reducing aeration and shock fade during operation.
This model includes an integrated dirt wiper sealing system that prevents moisture, dirt, and debris from contaminating the internal oil, thereby prolonging the life of the shock. Additionally, the internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings work together to minimize noise, vibration, and ride harshness, contributing to a smoother driving experience. The RS7000MT is designed to fit specific applications right out of the box, allowing for easy installation without the need for additional hardware.
With a large 2 inch monotube body filled with all-weather fluid, this shock absorber operates cooler and provides increased vehicle control, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 248 degrees Fahrenheit.
