Advanced nitrogen gas charged shock for enhanced vehicle performance
The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber features a patented rebound valving system that significantly improves vehicle handling and performance both on and off-road. This innovative design includes a tuned compression control valve that harmonizes the shock's motion with the vehicle's dynamics, ensuring stability and control across various terrains. The enlarged 2-1/4 inch twin tube body increases fluid capacity, allowing the shock to operate cooler and enhancing overall performance.
Gas pressurization minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade, while providing a mild boost in spring rate. The 16 millimeter nitro-carburized rod enhances durability by increasing scuffing resistance and protecting against corrosion. Additionally, the full-displaced 35 millimeter bore and 1-3/8 inch diameter sintered iron piston contribute to improved control of shock motion, making the RS5000X a reliable choice for demanding driving conditions.
The shock also features a rebound bumper that reduces wear and tear during both on and off-road driving, and a glass-filled, Fluon banded piston that ensures smoother travel and responsiveness to changing road conditions. With its robust construction and advanced engineering, the Rancho RS5000X is designed to meet the needs of serious off-road enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike.
