Advanced nitrogen gas charged shock for enhanced vehicle performance
The Rancho RS5000X Shock Absorber is engineered to improve vehicle handling and performance both on and off-road. Featuring a patented rebound valving system, this shock absorber provides a unique compression phase that enhances stability and control. The progressive engagement valving ensures that the shock engages progressively, maintaining optimal control during various driving conditions.
Constructed with an enlarged 2-1/4 inch twin tube body, the RS5000X allows for increased fluid capacity, which helps to operate cooler and improves performance across different terrains. The gas pressurization minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade, while also providing a slight boost in spring rate for better handling.
The shock features a 16 millimeter nitro-carburized rod that enhances durability and resistance to scuffing and corrosion. With a full-displaced 35 millimeter bore, the RS5000X offers heightened control of shock motion, ensuring a smoother ride. The glass-filled, Fluon banded piston contributes to smoother piston travel and responsiveness to changing road conditions, making it a reliable choice for vehicle-specific applications.
