The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber features a patented rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase designed to enhance vehicle handling both on and off-road. This shock is nitrogen gas charged, providing consistent performance and a mild boost in spring rate, which contributes to improved ride quality and control. The enlarged twin tube body increases fluid capacity, allowing the shock to operate cooler and more efficiently across various terrains.
Incorporating dynamic rebound spring technology, the RS5000X ensures that the shock's motion works in harmony with the vehicle's dynamics. The precision-tuned compression control valve and progressive engagement valving allow for optimal performance at lower speeds and during the initial stages of travel. Additionally, the shock is equipped with a 16 millimeter nitro carburized rod for enhanced durability and resistance to scuffing and corrosion.
The Rancho RS5000X also includes a polyurethane rebound bumper to manage rebound motion during harsh driving conditions, while black natural rubber bushings absorb ride harshness and reduce road noise. With a low friction, self-lubricating seal, this shock provides an extra layer of protection against dirt and debris, ensuring longevity and reliability in performance.
