The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber features a patented rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase designed to improve vehicle handling both on and off-road. This innovative shock is engineered to provide superior control and stability through its progressive engagement valving, which adapts to driving conditions for optimal performance. The enlarged 2-1/4 inch twin tube body increases fluid capacity, allowing the shock to operate cooler and enhance vehicle control across various terrains.

Gas pressurization minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade, while also providing a slight boost in spring rate. The 16 millimeter nitro-carburized rod enhances durability by increasing scuffing resistance and protecting against corrosion. With a full-displaced 35 millimeter bore and a 1-3/8 inch diameter sintered iron piston, the RS5000X ensures heightened control of shock motion, making it suitable for diverse driving conditions.

The inclusion of a rebound bumper significantly reduces wear and tear during both on and off-road driving, while the glass-filled, Fluon banded piston allows for smoother travel and greater responsiveness to changing road conditions.
