Advanced shock absorber for improved vehicle handling and performance
The Rancho RS5000X is a nitrogen gas charged shock absorber designed to enhance the handling and performance of vehicles both on and off-road. Featuring a patented rebound valving system, this shock provides superior control and stability through its progressive engagement valving, which adapts to varying driving conditions. The shock's enlarged 2-1/4 inch twin tube body increases fluid capacity, allowing for cooler operation and improved performance across different terrains and speeds.
Constructed with a 16 millimeter nitro-carburized rod, the RS5000X offers enhanced durability and resistance to scuffing and corrosion. The full-displaced 35 millimeter bore contributes to better control of shock motion, while the sintered iron piston ensures structural integrity. Additionally, the gas pressurization minimizes air-to-oil mixture, reducing the risk of foaming and shock fade, thus providing a consistent driving experience.
The Rancho RS5000X is designed with application-specific valving, ensuring optimal performance tailored to your vehicle's needs. With features such as a rebound bumper to reduce wear and tear and a glass-filled, Fluon banded piston for smoother travel, this shock absorber is engineered for reliability and responsiveness. Its white shock body with red shock boots adds a distinctive look while maintaining functionality.
