The Rancho RS5000X is a nitrogen gas charged shock absorber designed to improve the handling and performance of vehicles both on and off-road. Featuring a patented rebound valving system, this shock provides a unique compression phase that enhances stability and control during various driving conditions. The enlarged 2-1/4 inch twin tube body increases fluid capacity, allowing for cooler operation and improved performance across different terrains and speeds.

This shock absorber is equipped with progressive engagement valving, which further engages to maintain control and stability. The precision-tuned shim stacked valving works in harmony with the vehicle, ensuring optimal performance during on- and off-road driving. Additionally, the 16 millimeter nitro-carburized rod enhances durability by providing increased scuffing resistance and protection against corrosion.

The full-displaced 35 millimeter bore contributes to heightened control of shock motion, while the sintered iron piston offers increased structural integrity. The Rancho RS5000X also features a rebound bumper that significantly reduces wear and tear, ensuring longevity and reliability. With its glass-filled, Fluon banded piston, this shock provides smoother travel and greater responsiveness to changing road conditions.
