The Ram Mounts Universal Laptop Mount is designed for efficient installation in most vehicles, utilizing self-tapping screws or bolting down the mount base. This fixed mount features a telescoping capability that extends from 12 to 18 inches, allowing for versatile positioning. The dual swing arms enhance articulation, providing a 12-inch reach for both driver and passenger access to the mounted device.
Equipped with a patented rubber ball and socket joint, this mount offers additional adjustment options while effectively isolating shock and vibration. The RAM Tough Tray accommodates laptops ranging from 10 to 16 inches wide, with the ability to support screens up to 17 inches. Its four adjustable retaining arms, featuring a rubber grip, can be positioned both vertically and horizontally to ensure a secure fit without obstructing ports or drives.
For added functionality, the tray includes options for screen support and a USB light, enhancing usability. The perimeter of the tray is designed with hole patterns that facilitate the attachment of additional RAM systems, allowing for the integration of GPS or other electronic devices. Note that hardware for securing the mount base to the vehicle is not included.
