The RaceQuip PRO Youth Full Face Helmet is designed for young racers, featuring a Fiber Reinforced Polymer shell that balances lightweight construction with affordability. This helmet meets the SFI 24.1/2020 rating, ensuring it is suitable for various youth motorsport activities, including Quarter Midget and NHRA Jr. Dragster racing. The helmet incorporates an expanded polystyrene liner for enhanced impact protection and comfort, while the Nomex interior provides fire retardant properties for added safety.
Equipped with M6 threaded inserts, the helmet allows for easy attachment of HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint devices, enhancing safety during high-speed events. The distortion-free 3 millimeter polycarbonate faceshield features an aluminum pivot kit and adjustable tear-off posts, ensuring clear visibility and ease of use. Additionally, the silicone eyeport gasket effectively seals out dust and dirt, maintaining a clean view for the driver.
The helmet's design includes a wide eyeport for excellent peripheral vision, accommodating personal eyewear. Exhaust vents located at the top and back of the shell promote airflow, helping to keep the wearer cool during races. The stylish American Flag graphic design and medium-sized chin spoiler contribute to the helmet's aerodynamic profile, making it a practical choice for young motorsport participants.
