The QA1 Shock Absorber 27 Series is designed for stock mount applications, providing a reliable solution for various racing classes including street stocks and hobby stocks. This monotube shock features a zinc plated body that enhances corrosion resistance, ensuring durability in demanding environments. With a 46 millimeter hard anodized piston and deflective disc valving, it offers consistent performance while allowing for easy rebuilding and revalving by the racer.
The shock absorber has an extended height of 14 inches and a compressed height of 9.4 inches, making it suitable for a range of vehicle setups. Its machined aluminum gland is equipped with low-drag seals and a dirt wiper, effectively keeping dirt and debris out while retaining oil. The premium aluminum floating piston design separates gas from oil, further enhancing performance and reliability.
This non-adjustable shock features number 5 compression and number 8 rebound linear and digressive valving, providing a balanced response for various driving conditions.
