The QA1 Coil Over Shock Absorber is designed specifically for GM A-bodies, including models such as Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Cutlass, and Regal. This product features a fully threaded shock body that allows for the use of aftermarket springs, providing flexibility in suspension tuning. With options for single or double adjustable valving, users can achieve precise control over their vehicle's ride quality and handling characteristics. The single adjustable version offers 18 positions for simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, while the double adjustable variant provides 18 positions for each, totaling 324 possible valving combinations.
Installation is straightforward with a bolt-in design that requires no cutting or welding, making it accessible for a range of users. Each shock absorber is 100 percent dyno tested and serialized, ensuring reliability and performance. The aluminum shock body is finished in silver, contributing to both aesthetics and durability. This set includes two Proma Star shock absorbers, two springs, and all necessary mounting brackets and bolts, making it a comprehensive solution for rear suspension enhancement.
