The Progressive Dynamics Power Converter is designed to convert 105 to 130 Volt AC to 13.9 Volt DC, providing a continuous output of 650 Watts and 40 Amps. This unit features an efficient 80 percent performance rating, ensuring optimal energy use. The built-in microprocessor-controlled four-stage charging system enhances battery life by automatically selecting the appropriate charging mode based on battery voltage. Modes include Boost, Normal, Storage, and Equalize, each tailored to maintain battery health and performance.
Equipped with three diode isolated outputs, this converter allows for simultaneous charging of three separate battery banks. Safety features include reverse battery protection, over and under voltage protection, and electronic current limiting to prevent overheating and damage. The variable speed intelligent cooling fan operates only as needed, maintaining a stable operating temperature.
The Progressive Dynamics Power Converter is also programmable in the field, accommodating various battery types such as lead-acid, gel-cell, or AGM. With automatic thermal protection, the unit reduces output to safe levels when temperatures exceed preset limits, ensuring longevity and reliability.
