This robust hitch features a flip-over design that allows the hitch ball to rotate in its socket, significantly extending the life of both the hitch ball and coupler by preventing grinding during towing. The hitch is fabricated from 1/2 inch high-grade steel, ensuring durability and strength for heavy-duty applications with a gross trailer weight capacity of 45,000 pounds.
Installation is straightforward, requiring only 10 inches on top of the frame and 4 inches down each side, with three 3/4 inch bolts on each side for secure mounting. The hitch includes a stainless steel 2-5/16 inch ball that is locked in place with a spring-loaded stainless steel pin, allowing for easy removal and storage when not in use. This design not only provides a secure connection but also allows for a level floor in the truck when the ball is inverted.
With a gross tongue weight capacity of 7,500 pounds, this hitch is semi-universal and does not require welding for installation. It is finished with a black powder coat for added protection against the elements, making it suitable for various towing conditions.
