The Pertronix Electronic Ignition Conversion is designed to replace traditional breaker points and factory electronic ignitions in International Harvester applications. This system offers a self-contained, maintenance-free solution that enhances reliability and performance. With its compact design, the Ignitor is often referred to as the 'stealth' ignition, as it installs quickly and remains nearly undetectable under the distributor cap, eliminating clutter in the engine compartment.

This ignition system delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs, resulting in improved horsepower, fuel economy, and extended spark plug life. The innovative design features rotating cobalt magnets that trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, ensuring there are no points to burn or moving parts to wear out. Additionally, the epoxy molding protects the module from dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, making it suitable for various environments.
