The Pertronix Electronic Ignition Conversion is designed to replace traditional breaker points and factory electronic ignitions in various tractor models, including John Deere and Ferguson. With a 2:1 improvement in current fall time compared to conventional points, the Ignitor enhances coil output for better engine performance. The use of rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit means there are no points to burn or moving parts to wear out, providing a reliable ignition solution.
The epoxy molding of the module ensures it is impervious to dirt, oil, grease, and moisture, making it suitable for various operating conditions. Additionally, the Ignitor maintains stable timing without the need for adjustments, and it is compatible with most multi-spark CD ignitions.
