This medium strength anaerobic sealant features a creamy paste consistency that locks and seals threaded fittings effectively. It is engineered to resist leakage, vibration loosening, and withstand exposure to moisture, hydraulic fluids, and diesel fuels, making it suitable for a wide range of automotive and industrial applications.
The sealant lubricates threads, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly without the shredding or wear associated with traditional Teflon tape. It allows for repositioning of parts for up to 24 hours after application, providing flexibility during installation. With a temperature resistance of up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, this product ensures durability and reliability in high-temperature environments.
Permatex Thread Sealant is packaged in a convenient 50 milliliter tube, making it easy to apply as needed. Its formulation prevents galling on pipe threads and fittings, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection. This product is also marine-grade, suitable for use in marine applications.
