This product is applied after assembly, simplifying preventive maintenance procedures. It is suitable for fasteners ranging from #2 to 1/2 inch in size, providing a reliable solution for securing threaded engagements.

This medium strength anaerobic threadlocking material cures between engaged threads to form a unitized assembly that resists leakage, shock, and vibration. The single component liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces, ensuring a strong bond. With high prevailing torque, it offers excellent vibration resistance, making it ideal for adjustment screws and other threaded applications.

Permatex Thread Sealant exhibits excellent chemical resistance and operates effectively within a temperature range of minus 175 degrees Celsius to plus 150 degrees Celsius. It prevents rusting of threads, seals porosity, and cures without cracking or shrinking. The product can be adjusted or disassembled using heat and hand tools, providing flexibility in maintenance and repairs.
