Permatex Thread Sealant is an all-purpose, medium strength threadlocker designed for use with various fasteners including valve cover bolts, water pump bolts, oil pan bolts, drive shaft bolts, rocker arm adjustment nuts, and carburetor studs. This 6 milliliter tube contains a single component anaerobic liquid that cures when confined in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, forming a unitized assembly that resists leakage, shock, and vibration.

This thread sealant is suitable for nut and bolt applications ranging from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch in diameter, eliminating the need for expensive lock nuts and lock washers. It provides excellent chemical resistance and operates effectively within a temperature range of minus 175 degrees Celsius to plus 150 degrees Celsius. The product is designed for easy disassembly with hand tools, ensuring that servicing requirements are met without difficulty.

Permatex Thread Sealant enhances reliability by preventing rusting of threads and curing without cracking or shrinking.
