This rugged battery box features a snap-top design with locking tabs that ensure the cover is fastened securely to the battery case, providing peace of mind during transport. Constructed from reinforced plastic, it is impact resistant down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit and is also UV resistant, making it suitable for various environments.
Designed with full-flow ventilation, the battery box allows for the safe release of battery gases while capturing any spilled electrolyte fluid in an acid-resistant reservoir. The multiple exit points for battery fumes enhance safety, meeting the stringent standards set by the Coast Guard and the American Boat and Yacht Council. The heavy-duty carrying handles are reinforced to prevent cracking, facilitating easy relocation of the battery.
