The NewMar Smart Battery Charger is designed to efficiently charge 12 Volt Gel-Cell, Flooded Lead-Acid, and AGM batteries. This 2-bank charger operates with a 3-step charging process consisting of Bulk, Absorption, and Float stages, ensuring optimal battery recovery and conditioning. With a charging current of 7 Amps, it is suitable for battery capacities ranging from 14 to 70 Ampere Hours, making it versatile for various applications including vehicles, marine, and industrial uses.
Constructed with a rugged stainless steel case and a durable white powder coat finish, the charger is built to withstand harsh environments. The internal circuitry is coated with polyurethane for enhanced corrosion resistance. The charger features smart circuitry that includes a selector switch for adjusting output voltage based on the battery type, and an optional temperature compensation sensor that optimizes charging based on ambient conditions.
Safety is a priority with the NewMar Smart Battery Charger, which includes current limiting to prevent damage from overloading and multiple isolated output banks. The charger status is easily monitored through LED indicators and an ammeter, providing clear visibility of the charging process.
