The NewMar Smart Battery Charger is designed to efficiently charge 12 Volt Gel-Cell, Flooded Lead-Acid, and AGM batteries. This 3-bank charger operates on an input voltage range of 85 to 264 volts AC and delivers a robust output current of 14 amps. It features a three-stage charging process—Bulk, Absorption, and Float—ensuring optimal battery recovery and conditioning, which enhances performance and extends battery life. The charger is equipped with smart circuitry that includes a selector switch for adjusting output voltage based on the battery type, and an optional temperature compensation sensor that adapts the output voltage according to ambient temperature changes.
Constructed with a rugged stainless steel case and a durable white powder coat finish, the NewMar charger is built to withstand harsh environments. The internal circuitry is coated with polyurethane for maximum corrosion resistance, making it suitable for industrial, marine, and remote communication applications. The charger also includes LED indicators and an ammeter to display the charging status, and it can function as a power supply without a battery in line.
