The NewMar Emergency Battery Switch Charger is designed to ensure continuous operation of your radio system during power failures. Under normal conditions, the device connects the radio to the power supply while providing a trickle charge to the back-up battery, maintaining its optimal condition. In the event of an AC power failure, a relay activates to automatically switch the radio to the back-up battery, restoring functionality within one second. Once AC power is restored, the system seamlessly reconnects the radio to the power supply and resumes the trickle charge to the battery.
