The NewMar Battery Isolator is designed for the efficient charging of two separate battery banks from a single source. This device operates continuously at 100 amps and can handle peak currents of up to 400 amps, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. With a compact size of 3-1/4 inches in width, 2-1/2 inches in depth, and 3 inches in height, it is suitable for various installations, particularly in marine environments where space is limited.
This battery isolator features a heavy-duty silver-plated contactor and a voltage sense circuit that ensures no voltage drop occurs during charging. It automatically connects the battery banks when a charging voltage is present and isolates them when the voltage drops, preventing discharge between banks. The unit is CE certified and ignition protected, making it safe for use in vehicles and boats.
Additionally, the NewMar Battery Isolator includes an easy three-wire hookup for straightforward installation. It also offers the option for remote activation, allowing users to connect additional batteries for a boost during engine start.
