The MSD Ignition Spark Plug Wire Set features an 8.5 millimeter diameter and is designed for high-performance applications. This wire set utilizes a copper alloy conductor with a resistance of less than 50 Ohms per foot, ensuring maximum energy transfer to the spark plug for optimal ignition of the air/fuel mixture. The helix-wound design incorporates a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core that effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference, enhancing overall engine performance.
Constructed with silicone and synthetic materials, the wire set is encased in a durable outer sleeve that provides resistance to high temperatures and abrasion. Each wire is pre-assembled and includes six 90-degree and two straight spark plug boots, along with straight LT1 distributor boots. The use of DuPont Kevlar material in the conductor core increases tensile strength, making this wire set robust and reliable for demanding conditions.
