The MSD Ignition Pro-Billet Distributor is designed specifically for Cadillac 368, 425, 472, and 500 cubic inch engines, providing a reliable ignition solution without an ignition control module. Constructed from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum, this distributor is CNC machined to ensure precise dimensions and a robust, flex-free housing. It features a sealed ball bearing and a long sintered bushing, which enhance performance at high RPMs.
Equipped with a race-proven magnetic pickup, the distributor delivers an accurate trigger signal within one degree across the entire RPM range. The adjustable mechanical advance system comes with various springs and stop bushings, allowing for tailored ignition curves. Additionally, a vacuum advance canister is included to improve fuel economy, which can be locked out if desired.
The polished steel shaft is QPQ coated for durability and is guided by a sealed ball bearing, ensuring smooth operation. The mechanical advance assembly can be locked out for use with crank trigger systems, making this distributor versatile for both street and strip applications.
