The MSD Ignition Power Module is a sophisticated, fully programmable relay solution designed to enhance the control of automotive systems. This module features a four-stage solid state relay capable of handling up to 20 Amperes per channel, effectively replacing traditional electromechanical relays, fuses, and timers. Its independent or simultaneous output control provides users with significant flexibility in managing various applications such as fans, pumps, and nitrous systems.
With the ability to configure outputs as either digital or Pulse Width Modulated (PWM), the Power Module supports user-defined frequencies up to 10 Kilohertz. This versatility allows for precise control based on time, RPM, or temperature, making it suitable for a wide range of automotive applications. Additionally, the built-in overcurrent protection eliminates the need for fuses, ensuring reliable operation under demanding conditions.
The MSD Power Module can be operated as a standalone unit or integrated with the MSD Power Grid PN 7730, offering further customization and control options. Each channel can be programmed through the MSDView software, allowing for tailored configurations to meet specific requirements.
