The MSD Ignition Digital 6AL Control Module is engineered for high-performance applications, including street, drag racing, and circle track use. This ignition control unit features a digital circuitry design that enhances efficiency and power output, delivering over 530 Volts to the coil with up to 135 MilliJoule of spark energy per firing. The compact design allows for easy installation, with all wiring exiting through a sealed and locking connector, ensuring a clean and organized setup.
Equipped with an adjustable rev limiter, the Digital 6AL allows users to set limits in 100 RPM increments, providing precise control over engine performance. The built-in microprocessor continuously monitors firing and rev limits, optimizing ignition timing for improved efficiency. This module is compatible with 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines operating on 12-Volt negative ground electrical systems, making it versatile for various racing setups.
The MSD Digital 6AL also includes an LED indicator for system checks, ensuring reliable operation.
