The MSD Ignition Blaster SS Coil is engineered for high performance in electronic ignition systems, particularly with MSD 6 Series Ignition. This single tower coil delivers a maximum voltage output of 40,000 volts, ensuring optimal spark energy for improved engine performance. With a primary resistance of 0.355 ohms and a secondary resistance of 4.4 kilo ohms, the coil is designed to operate effectively up to 12,500 RPM, making it suitable for both street and racing applications.
The innovative E-core winding design allows for efficient current production while maintaining high voltage output. The secondary windings are constructed on a segmented bobbin, which minimizes the risk of voltage breakdown. Additionally, the windings are encased in a durable polyurethane compound, providing protection against vibration and enhancing the coil's longevity.
Constructed with a robust Dupont Rynite housing and brass terminals, the Blaster SS Coil is built to withstand harsh conditions. It includes a 90-degree boot and terminal for easy installation, although it does not come with a mounting bracket or coil wire. This coil is CARB E.O. approved, making it a reliable choice for various ignition setups.
