MSD Ignition has developed an advanced 8 pack single tower coil pack designed specifically for the GM LS engine platform. This coil pack replaces OEM coils while delivering significantly higher spark energy, ensuring optimal performance. With a maximum voltage of 44000 volts and a primary resistance of 0.57 ohms, these coils provide enhanced ignition capabilities that contribute to a more efficient combustion process.
The MSD coils feature multiple spark capabilities at idle RPM, which aids in achieving a more complete burn of the fuel mixture. This results in improved throttle response, smoother idling, and quicker starts, making it a valuable addition for performance enthusiasts. The coils are engineered with a secondary resistance of 3.1 kilo ohms and a turns ratio of 52:1, further optimizing the ignition system's efficiency.
In addition to their technical specifications, the coils are designed for easy installation, fitting seamlessly into existing setups. The red color adds a distinctive look under the hood, while the robust construction ensures durability and reliability in high-performance applications.
