The Moroso Performance Oil Pan is specifically designed for Mazda 13B rotary engines, providing a capacity of 6.25 quarts. This oil pan features a wet sump design with a depth of 4 inches, ensuring efficient oil management during operation. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, it is fully fabricated for durability and performance.
This oil pan includes a 3/8 inch thick billet rail with an integral X-brace, which significantly strengthens the engine assembly to reduce twisting and axial deflection. Additionally, it comes with a .080 inch thick aluminum baffle plate that effectively de-aerates and cools return oil, outperforming standard baffles.
The Moroso oil pan is equipped with a specially designed oil pump pickup and access holes for easy mounting to the front cover. It also features a magnetic drain plug with an extra copper washer, ensuring secure and efficient oil changes. The pan is compatible with stock pan gaskets and dipsticks, making installation straightforward for engine builders.
